Learn from football

Football season is here, I am a Charger fan, and am glad we could finally win a game!!!

I think as entrepreneurs we can learn a lot from sports. In a was sports teach us fair play, pushing ones limits and being creative with plays.

I know times are really tough for us right now, economic crisis and a fear of a depression. My business has already started to feel the consequences of this mess.

I hope that just like in sports, we can remember to have fun. We might loose a game, but lets remember that there is an entire season ahead off us. Lets try to make the best of it and have fun. For most of us this isn't our first "season" but maybe, just like my team (chargers) we are off to a pretty rough start.

Hang in there guys, we'll make it through!!!

ECONOMIC TROUBLES

Hi guys, sorry I've taken so long to write. If one thing is true, is that economic woes are inevitable. As en entrepreneur, we face these head on, there is no corporation or administration group that can lighten the blow.

This month was a very hard month for me. I really don't know how I came out on top. Of course this is not the first crisis I've beaten, but it is the most recent one, and that's what counts. I want to let every entrepreneur reading this that there will always be a way to make it through, and that this great nation with its great people are depending on us to, because by doing so, we insure the promise of "the land of opportunity"

Please let me know what you have been going through.

Till next time.

After risk, there is gamble

Today I am writing from sunny Las Vegas Nevada. I am here on vacation. Obviously when one thinks of Las Vegas, one thinks of gambling, shows, and entertainment. I am truly trying to just relax, and stop thinking about work, but if your are like me, a young entrepreneur, you just cant stop!!!

Every time I go to my hotels lobby, I see hundreds of people playing poker, or the slot machines, and spending hours gambling. This got me thinking how I am a natural risk taker, but most of the times, I do have to gamble. I have to go all in on my ideas, or my strategies. It is tough when a competitor has a better hand than you and takes all of your profits, but it is always GREAT, when you double your money in a lucky deal.

With business though, its really 70% sweat and 30% luck, but we really do strive to get lucky, meet the right people and find that right niche.

To all my entrepreneur friends, you cant win, if you don't play.

Please write me with any questions you may have, be it personal or regarding business.

Thank You

VOTE!!! 2008

WOW!!! we are living very exciting times!!

As you all know, my status in the U.S.A is that of a permanent resident. I live and work here, my two sons, where born here, my wife is a U.S. citizen, and I am waiting for the date to become one.

I cannot vote, but these elections are to exciting to miss out on. I love hearing both sides of the story. I consider myself a moderate Republican, but I vote for a person, not for a party.

I truly admire Obama, I can only imagine the struggles and criticism he has had to overcome to get to where he is. I am also in aw of McCain, we all know his story and the passion that he has for his country. We all know that nobody is perfect, but with these elections I start to understand why America is so strong, because of its leaders.

The important thing here is to be a part of something great, to be there at that deciding moment, to get involved and participate. This is a very important aspect of all entrepreneurs!

Lets make history and what ever the outcome may we unite and grow.

Its part of business

There are many very good things about business, making money is my favorite, but there are also not so good things about it. Let me talk about having to spend money. Spending money to make money is a given, but sometimes you spend, spend, and spend, and it takes along time to make the money back.

This can be very stressful, but I like to remember all of those story's we have heard about self made millionaires. You know, that story about the guy who truly believed in his service or product, the guy who dropped out, or got a second mortgage on his house, to pursue his dream.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that all of us, all of the entrepreneurs out there, we have to practice sacrifice. I think we are constantly pushed to the edge of having to give all that we have just to survive.

I want all of you to know, that I know the struggles, the stress and the fear, but hang in there, our millions are waiting.

One more day.
